Booked & Busy
Hey, Marbys, I wanted to be real with you today and have a different type of post. Over the weekend, I have been working diligently on my website and blog page. With the main focus on operations; such as advertisement policies, having a widget or non-widget theme, and figuring out a backup all my work on jetpack. I spent literally three days with these things. Mostly, due to me contacting the hosting company. As a result, my website theme for my home page was wiped clean, leaving just words all over the page; they indeed tried to help, and they did to a certain extent. Now I am left with at least a functional blog. At least until I figure out how to get my home page theme back! Lol!
Don’t doubt yourself
My goal in blogging about my experience this weekend is to actually encourage anyone out there who may be scared or a little apprehensive of trying something new. For me, this new world of blogging and websites came from me writing a series of books (yet to be published) and brief courses in graphic design, journalism, and radio announcing almost sixteen years ago! Okay, and am I telling my age? I had a story or stories to tell, and I wanted to see them on ink and paper. A bible verse says something like this, “write the vision, make it clear,” others do a vision broad to aspire to achieve all goals they set out to do over some time.
Try, Try, Try Again
Marbys, all I ask is for you to try, even if you fail! At least you can say I tried, and this didn’t work or let me view it another way or try something completely different. Now you know your strength and weakness, but never give up, and at some point, your dream will become a reality. It may not be quite the vision you had in mind, but it could be more, maybe even leading you to another dream that works better for you. Starting this business has been very challenging for me, and I still do not know what I am doing. I may even reach out to fellow bloggers and web designers if I am really at my wit’s end! I will see this through! All I ask is your patience with me, encouragement and pointers are appreciated along the way!
